Ribbon-Cutting for New Leed-Certified South Lansing Branch

                               Opening Monday, December 6

Lake Trust Credit Union, CEO Stephan L. Winninger, President William J. Thiess, and mid-Michigan Regional Manager Theresa Dubiel are scheduled to join several City of Lansing and community representatives for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the opening of our new South Lansing branch, located at 6440 S. Pennsylvania Avenue in Lansing, at 8:45 a.m., on Monday, December 6, 2010. The new branch will open for business to the public promptly at 9 a.m. following the brief ceremony.

Our new branch is a 5,000 square foot state-of-the-art banking facility located on an old Brownfield site where the Regent Inn once stood. Recycled materials were used in construction of the LEED-certified environmentally sensitive building, and the site now features special soil erosion control measures and several energy optimization elements.

The branch features convenient access to teller and drive-thru services for our members and is located close to I-96 and easily accessible from Cedar Street and Pennsylvania Avenue. The branch is expected to provide a major economic boost to the area, which is a key commercial corridor in Michigan’s Capital City.
